THE RITUAL FESTIVAL presented by Amber Circle .

The Ritual was born in Chiang Mai — a city where ancient Lanna heritage and contemporary creativity continue to live side by side. We created The Ritual as a space where these worlds can meet in concept “ LET GO · BE PRESENT · BECOME ”. Not simply to preserve the past, but to reimagine it. Through art, craftsmanship, gastronomy, wellness, music, performance and storytelling, we invite people to experience Chiang Mai’s culture in a way that feels alive, relevant and deeply personal.

DAYLIGHT — DISCOVER

Our journey begins in daylight. Guests are invited to explore the living heritage of Lanna through local craftsmanship, contemporary art, creative workshops, culinary experiences and encounters with the people who keep these traditions alive. Here, heritage is not something to simply look at. You touch it, you create it, you taste it and you become part of it. A traditional craft becomes a contemporary expression. Ancient knowledge inspires new imagination. Stories from the past find new voices. Because we believe cultural preservation does not mean keeping something unchanged. It means giving it a future.

FIRELIGHT — TRANSFORM

As daylight fades, The Ritual transforms. The pace slows, the lights change, and the atmosphere begins to shift. What you discovered during the day now comes alive in a different way. Fire, music, movement, light, food and performance come together as the night unfolds. This is the time to let go, have fun, connect with people, and simply be present in the moment. Follow the fire into The Ruins, where darkness, flame, movement and sound come together to reveal the first chapter of The Ritual. Professional fire performers bring an original story to life through fire, shadow, choreography and immersive storytelling – created exclusively for this night and revealed for the very first time. When the first flame rises, the story begins. “Release the past. Step into what comes next” The Ruins tells a story of the past – the moments, memories and emotions we have carried with us. Tonight, we come together to acknowledge them, release them, and move beyond them. Through fire, movement, music and storytelling, we transform what once was into the beginning of something new. The Ritual: Fire & Shadow is an immersive cultural experience created by Amber Circle, celebrating contemporary fire performance, gastronomy, art, wellness, music, and the rich heritage of Northern Thailand.

More than an event, it is a journey designed to inspire connection, creativity, and unforgettable memories.

Where and when is the event held?

The Ritual is held at Sense Dhara Dhevi Wellness Club, Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Is the event suitable for children?

Yes. Daytime activities, artisan markets, workshops, and selected performances are suitable for families. Some evening performances and VIP experiences are designed for adult audiences.

Where can I purchase tickets and what is included?

Tickets are available exclusively through our official website. We recommend purchasing in advance, as many experiences have limited capacity.

Ticket inclusions vary by package and may include: - Festival admission and live performances - Access to artisan markets - Selected workshops and wellness activities - Dining or VIP experiences, where applicable

Can I upgrade or refund my ticket?

Ticket upgrades are available subject to availability. Please contact our team before the event, or enquire at Guest Services during the event.

Tickets are generally non-refundable, except if the event is cancelled or postponed. Please review the ticket terms and conditions before booking.

Do I need to book workshops in advance?

Yes. Workshop places are limited, and advance booking is recommended. Some workshops are included in selected ticket packages, while others require an additional purchase.

Will food and drinks be available?

Yes. Guests can enjoy curated local and international food, craft beverages, and premium dining experiences.

The Ritual VIP Dining Experience offers special menus, premium service, and intimate performances in an exclusive setting.

What should I wear, and can I take photographs?

Elegant casual attire and comfortable footwear are recommended. For the evening, we recommend attire suited to a premium outdoor experience.

Personal photography is welcome. Commercial photography, video filming, or drone use requires prior permission.

Is the event accessible, and what happens if it rains?

We are committed to making The Ritual accessible to all guests. Please contact us in advance if you require accessibility assistance.

The Ritual is designed to operate in a range of weather conditions. In severe weather, the schedule may be adjusted for guest safety.

How can I apply to become a vendor?

Apply through the Vendor Application section. All vendors are curated to maintain the highest quality and experience for guests.

How can my company become a sponsor?

Where should I stay and how do I get there?

Parking is available at the venue, with additional services such as shuttle transport offered according to the event schedule. Information about airport transfers, shuttles, taxis, and other travel services will be announced before the event.
